@EUCommission Oh no... another attempt of breaching privacy of all Europeans under a disguise of protecting the children?! πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
LMAO, #Mastodon is releasing texts written by ChatGPT on its Patreon

@trbutler depends on criteria.

Where I find most interesting content: Threads > Instagram > Bluesky > X > Mastodon (I don't use Facebook)
Morally: Mastodon > Bluesky > Meta products > X
Engagement: X > Threads > Instagram > Bluesky > Mastodon (I don't post on X, but looking back before I wiped my account. Rebuilding is a challenge)

#Bluesky just reached 30 mln users, 3 times the amount #mastodon currently has.
@fifilamoura @liztai @ct_bergstrom do it like most of Europe does - provide free IDs to all citizens (the fact that in US you got to pay is ridiculous) and a time off (or day off) for voting.
Solutions already exist. You just got to be less stubborn in ignoring the rest of the world. ;)

The new recommendations tab on @ivory is pretty good! Really supports the point that some form of algorithmic discovery can be extremely useful for Mastodon.

Here’s to hoping that we’ll get a plugin system for algorithms. Free personalized algorithm choice for everyone.

We found that the PLC code actually contained logic that would lock up the train with bogus error codes after some date, or if the train wasn't running for a given time. One version of the controller actually contained GPS coordinates to contain the behaviour to third party workshops.

It was also possible to unlock the trains by pressing a key combination in the cabin controls. None of this was documented.

@bobpony never stopped using it in the first place.
Streaming platform executives:
β€œI don’t think enough people are pirating. Let’s see what we can do about that.”
@mathewi 52 years is "middle aged" now? lol
