@flauschzelle @C3Casi I guess I came from Artemis SBS with all the knowledge, but that's a good point. It was designed as a convention game where there would be people who know the ropes to explain everything.
Also I remember back in the day it was sending almost the whole state of the game back and forth so it wasn't the best if someone had a bit of latency.
Either way I'm moving it up on my todo list. :)
@C3Casi Snowrunner via proton - you drive trucks and friends help you pull out of deep mud.
Minecraft Java edition - tare monsters.
Space Engineers - Minecraft in Space (crashes a lot on proton :( )
Unrailed - this one is on the edge, starting is relaxed, later levels require reflexes
I'll have to check how Empty Epsilon fares over the Internet, but it should be doable - it requires coordination but not really quick reflexes.
One thing that is amazing about federated services is themed instances that concentrate people interested/excited about a subject.
This works both ways - looking through the local timeline gives you a good idea of a topic. Or the other way around - you can block an entire instance from appearing in your timeline if your are trying to avoid a topic.
@mcg @[email protected] Depending on who did the counting US might have paid for less than half of the terminals that are currently in UA +logistics. France and Poland contributed a bit too.
Either way it's a typical Musk situation, only made easier by the environment at the time which didn't encourage officially taking credit.
