@girlonthenet I thought this might interest you. It’s in my favourite pub, Fanny’s in Saltaire. It’s lost its impact a little over the years as the collage part has faded but it’s always been - and still is - a talking point. It’s a strange piece of work but I find it quite beautiful.

Stayed in the Tower Hotel in London recently and the water pressure in the bathroom was insane! Filled the bath in just under 30 seconds. It took longer to empty than it did to fill. #London #TowerHotel #WaterPressure #bath

I bought this lamp at auction a few years ago, it was made by an English company called Metek in the 40s or 50s. It’s a travelling lamp, it has a spring clip in the base to clamp it onto a desk,or bedside table, and as you can see it folds up. The peeling paint was becoming a bit of a nuisance so I cleaned it up and resprayed it and I’m very pleased. I decided not to hammer all the dents out as I wanted to keep a bit of its history on show. #Metek #retro #lighting
