$170 billion could have paid for meals for schoolkids for a full decade.

$170 billion could have helped end homelessness by providing housing for every unhoused American 17 times over.

$170 billion could have restored funding for clean drinking water programs for 60+ years.

Instead, we’re terrorizing our communities.

Once again, I'm reminded that my longstanding "don't go to private billionaire underage sex islands" policy has been pretty well vindicated.
@cogdog the Discovery Institute is up and going. Thanks for the memory. I am retiring so lots of them have been creeping through my mind lately.

I got my settlement for whatever evil thing Facebook did a few years ago, so I donated it to @internetarchive. A wrong can make a right. I promise to donate all future settlements for the meta evil deeds going forward.
@overholt @universalhub this led me down a rabbit hole of Boston bands. The Throbbing Lobster sampler albums were really fun to listen to.

Its near "super intelligence" "replacing professionals" in the PR rounds, 60 minutes and such, then once everyone is convinced and uses them for legal and medical advice, following the deceptive marketing, they slip it in the terms of service that you shouldn't do that.
