To appeal to Barry down Wetherspoons, they suggest cutting work visas (eg in care industry) on basis ‘economically inactive’ people here take up roles
1. Care is a skilled & demanding role. I bloody know. It’s not ‘menial’ & is very, very IMPORTANT. Why would just anyone be suitable?
2. Legal migration is a BENEFIT to the UK as we’ve learned via Brexit. These idiots are doubling down for their rather thick ‘audience’

The stock market is failing according to the CBI. So why don’t we just let it go?

The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. The question that needs to be asked is, why is that?...
