So the exhibition Carrier of foreign things / Bärare av främmande föremål is now up and running 30th May- 16th Aug in a cute summer town called Laholm on the Swedish West coast. I've been working with both hands simultaneously in processes of using meditation. Those objects have then been experimented on making glazes from sodium, natrium, copper, sewer water, lithium, multivitamins which have developed amazing glazes in the mix. #art #exhibition #fineart #artist #konst #sweden #laholm

Jag har jobbat kring havsmollusken Xenophora med experiment i lerprocessen där jag använder båda händerna samtidigt vilket skapar mönsterspeglingar. I glaseringarna har jag fokuserat på olika mineraler och substanser som finns i naturen & som människan behöver i kroppen eller har begär av, men som genomgått olika transformationer. Lithium chloride, processat avloppsvatten, smink (med pfas), multivitaminer, koppar.

I recently visited Siena, Florence and Tuscany (Calpabio). I loved the cathedral in Siena with magnificent stonework, both in architecture and inlays (stone intarsia). These stripey pillars in stone are so amazing. The Nose Parade. Each nose holds a secret smell that can be exchanged with ampoules by lifting the top lid.
For the noses I am making a magic cupboard in hand carved wood. This school have kids who can communicate only through smells. So I decided to make a little art work where the teachers can combine teaching about art through sculptures and smells and some will also have sounds.

And I've mended a wooly jumper knitted by my cousin from yarn of her late mother's experiment with colouring yarn from mushrooms and leaves. I had a hole on the elbow. And I needle felted a bloodshot eye 👁️ which is now felted onto the hole. Gazing backwards.

I will share an update on what I've done whilst having some weird neck pain. I've studied my new tool maintenance machine to sand my tools for the lathe and wood carving tools, it's a science but I love the well written almost like poetry instruction manual.
