Linaro has been working on toolchain (compiler, base libraries, debugger) development and maintainership for the Arm architecture since 2011. This involves coding and also supporting activities such as developing and maintaining a CI system. About 2 years ago, Linaro deployed a state of the art continuous testing and integration infrastructure for the GNU Toolchain (aka GNU Toolchain CI).
