I love Nintendo and Linux, although if it's an RPG game I'm always interested.
I also love metal music and good art be it AI or Human.
Finally, I suffer from this little psychedelic thing called Schizophrenia but I'm completely functional.

Someone just pointed me at https://bazzite.gg/ and while it's marketed towards gamers, I feel like this has a lot of potential for everyday use?
Bazzite is image based meaning that after every update the previous version of the operating system is retained on your machine. Should an update cause any issues, you can select the previous image at boot time.
Images of the operating system are retained in our repositories for ninety days and can be switched to via the terminal. Nvidia driver update broke something you needed? No worries, rebase to the last known good release and pin it so that it's retained as long as needed.

My baby compiler is now passing 891 CTS tests from the dEQP.ssbo.single_basic_type.* test group before dying on an invalid swizzle. Zero tests are failing and it panic!s on that invalid swizzle, not GPU hangs.
That last bit is important. Unlike the old compiler, Kraid has an accurate swizzle model and is able to reason about them and know with 100% accuracy when it’s done something wrong. So the challenge now is to write a lowering pass to deal with the invalid cases. That’s way better than fighting bugs because swizzles are modeled wrong.
