I was thrilled to teach another session of my "Creativity Care" classes tomorrow at the inspiring Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center!

This workshop, Postcards of the Once and Future Self, is designed for adult learners to reflect on their goals and dreams for the year ahead. Together, we created meaningful connections with our future selves by making personalized postcards.

The process:
• Basics of relief printmaking
• A touch of collage
• Thoughtful, encouraging messages to ourselves

In November, I led a group of wonderful teens through a "Personal Illuminated Prayers" workshop. We talked about ways we hoped to pray, then used mono-printing, gold leafing, collage, and a typewriter to compose our pieces! This was for The Episcopal Diocese of Newark, and was just a wonderful time!
