My personal hope, moving forward, would be to see some sort of publically-kept, open-source, continuously synced ReShade fork customized for XIV. But, more important, no single individual with the power to accept their own code changes.

Transparency and accountability are extremely valuable not only for the end users but for the developers as well.

Current guides, whenever necessary, will receive a small how-to addendum to help navigate the differences. All future guides will be based on the latest ReShade version available. I deeply appreciate every single person that reached out to share their point of view.

There's an important lesson here about trust. For the longest time, GShade was used as the reference for anyone that wanted to defend the use of non-invasive 3rd party solutions.
