I'm looking for TV show recommendations - but... slightly specific.
I like sci-fi, fantasy, horror... but what I'm after is a show that can be on in the background without needing to watch tooooo closely for flashy effects and such. More SG-1 than Expanse, say.
Ideas?
Okay, here's my overdue #introduction post...
I'm a #JavaScript developer by day and a #fiction writer/editor by night (mostly #SF, #dreampunk in particular). I have a master's in #linguistics and taught in #Japan for a while. I love #art, #cooking, etc.
I'd like to connect with the #writingCommunity here, particularly since I seem to be making a habit of compiling #shortFiction anthologies. The first was #MIRRORMAZE, and a follow-up called #SOMNISCOPE is on the way.
@VampiresAndRobots @mariahaskins
There was indeed early bedtime! Sadly, it was in my bed, where I had to read The Monster At The End Of This Book several times. And woke later with a five-year-old's foot up my nose.
Ah, parenthood...
I love my Kindle.
Sadly, so do my kids so my view of it is often as it disappears off into the distance as they skip away to use it to play Minecraft rather than in my hands reading the new @mariahaskins book I want to read.
They're getting early bedtime tonight, I tell ya...
