we will be out at the really really free market at the bonair LFPL in #louisville on february 22nd from 2-4pm with a community lending library, zine and info distro, and our friends @Lamplighters_IN

come say hey and check out some of whats going on in the ohio river valley!

Hey you! Did you know you can deflate a tire by unscrewing the valve stem cap, putting an airsoft BB and then screwing the cap back on there? You know, for when you need to lose a few PSI for traction in this snow. That's all, act wisely friends✌️

You can build alone, but only if you unite can you thrive.

We here at the Lamplighters want to encourage everyone to do nice things with your friends. Build a little clique that does skill sharing, gives away things for free, cooks some hot food for people. Do that once a week or as often as you can. Those of you who think you cant organize, guess what? You just did!

Get 1% better every day and in 100 days you'll be twice the organizers you started as. Consistency is key.

We've developed a digital security guide for people overwhelmed by digital security! We are ready to share this draft and ask for your feedback! https://activistchecklist.org/

We've been working with some comrades and digital security experts for the past 6 months to create a site to help activists and organizers practice better digital security. We know that the rise of authoritarianism is going to come with increased surveillance and repression of our movements. Looking around, we found that existing resources were either too simple or too complicated, so we created this site to be a comprehensive and specific steps that wouldn't make your eyes glaze over.

There are many changes and additions we want to make. But we wanted to get this early draft of the site out so folks could start using it before the inauguration. If you have some time, can you take a look at it, try out one of the checklists, and share any feedback you have? We’re hoping to get a lot of feedback over the next 2 weeks. Thanks!

Mutual Aid Networks That Emerged in Housing Crisis Are Mobilizing Amid LA Fires

“If you can make a sandwich, you can start a mutual aid network,” one Los Angeles organizer told Truthout.

#MutualAid is the guiding light that will shine through the fog that is creeping up from the void to swallow us all. With the corporate overlords bowing to lick the heels of fascists, we normal folks have a moral duty to light the lamps as we tread the path of resistance and struggle.

We're taking donations of surplus for redistribution through our free store and drop points. If you are near southern Indiana, we will even come collect it for you!
