🗺️WHERE TO GO IN KYŌTO🧭
Azalea bloom everywhere in Kyōto, but there are a few particularly famous spots.
1) For a short time at the end of April Keage Water-Treatment Plant (蹴上浄水場) opens to the public. Over 4600 azalea bushes grow on the steep hillside.

Many of you will know that I'm very much a winter person, but I do like seeing and shooting cherry blossoms in spring.
Found these specimens in London's St James's Park.

Y'know, bee flies are such crazy hyperactive little blighters, I'm glad to be able to catch them at all before they've moved on to the next flower 😱
So even though this picture of a greater bee fly (Bombylius major; 🇩🇪 Großer Wollschwebe) isn't perfectly sharp & totally in focus, I'll take it for a cold, breezy day in April 🙂
