Just finished Project Hail Mary. Weir writes prose that does what only prose can. The film adaptation is great too, but on its own terms. Both formats delivering something unique.

Today I watched the LA City Council vote to boost Hollywood production here at home. Real wins.
More is still needed to keep LA competitive, but this is movement in the right direction.
