Today I watched the LA City Council vote to boost Hollywood production here at home. Real wins.

More is still needed to keep LA competitive, but this is movement in the right direction.

My youngest walked in while I was getting ready and asked me to take him to see The Backrooms in May. 2nd time this year he's asked me to take him to the movies and it's only Feb.

The Minecraft movie started it. Now both my kids are going regularly.

It's not that kids don't want to go to the movies. It's that they want something made for them.

I wouldn't write off the theater experience just yet.
