Two-foot spinning with a wheel will take longer to get used to that a drop spindle, I fear. #spinning
I never could get the hang of drum kit either - foot coordination is severely lacking.

A good assembly puzzle for the other half. It’s a tad more complex than Ikea furniture.

Still practicing. No pencil sharpener nearby and well worn down pencils (not ideal), so my pencils got progressively lighter - 5B - 4B - 2B - HB.

Learning something new, with much swearing and at least one tantrum.

The setup is awful, the actual weaving is fun.

Image 1 - brown and white home spun yarn is woven with 4 ply thin woolen yarn on a tapestry loom.

Image 2 - winding on the warp on one end of a tapestry loom. The other end is clamped to the far end of the table.

Nine vignettes for #Inktober done!
Pleased with how they’ve turned out, considering acrylic inks and dip pens were both new mediums. They were a lot of fun to paint. I plan to extend the story with more over time.

Smooshing paint around in 3D for the first time. This would be easier if I didn’t have the finished image in mind.
Also, discovered that oils wet blend better than acrylics. This is just a base coat, now dryaing for a week, ‘cos oils.
