Not my favorite Ukrainian, but... accurate assessment on the risks of putting troops into Iran.

Massed troops are punished troops. Troops are easily separated from their helicopters, boats, APCs, etc.
And then punished.
Drone warfare is actually MORE dangerous, when there are fewer trees and less places to hide.

Zaluzhnyi on US ground operation in Iran: military catastrophe

A potential US ground invasion of Iran would result in a military disaster for American forces. Modern battlefield technologies and attrition strategies make th

The Ukrainian Review
Video of the Russians getting wiped out at Lyman so extensively, it looks like a month-long compilation video, and not just one attempted assault.

Don't be surprised if Crimean troops surrender MUCH more readily. They probably know more about their options than the Russians, and many likely blame Russia for forcing them to fight their countrymen.

Quite a few might be willing to switch sides, or even provide intelligence to Ukraine about Russian units, especially if it means avoiding the fate of many LPR / DPR troops.

It just occurred to me that if Orban is investigated, there could be plenty of VERY incriminating links between not just Orban and the Russians, but also Trump / far right complicity in aiding or covering up these intrigues.

Orban's loss of power could be deeply incriminating to any number of far right wing leaders, if investigated, leaked, etc. Just the global far right fundraising aspects alone are potential dynamite.

So, you agree? We should fire Trump for being a disgusting person?
@qkslvrwolf I would let them have it, basically undefended... yet full of self-destructing, mined explosive goodness, swarmed by every drone possible.

Before Trump's invasion, there was a serious threat that Iran might overthrow their government and push for something closer to parliamentary democracy...

But that's increasingly off the table, thanks to Trump... who apparently wants to say that the prime objective of the war is reopening the Strait of Hormuz... which wasn't blockaded before the war.

Ignore the convicted fraudster's lies...

If you want to know what is happening, watch the troops, the supplies, the ships and planes instead.

I mean, Trump could back down... but given the high cost of what he is currently doing, it probably won't happen without something he can spin as a clear win.

I've been saying for a long time that India & China are routinely going to rip off Russia to the sum of billions, simply because they can.
They are potentially able to indefinitely delay paying Russia back, simply in order to comply with various sanctions, insurance requirements, or banking laws... or simply buy oil, etc. on terms, disband the company, and leave things an uncollectable mess.

ChrisO has a great thread on this, and how very cheesed off some Russians are...

I would be remiss if I didn't mention how very large and screwed up Russia's attempted assault on Lyman was the other day. It was one of those things hard to fully summarize in 500 characters.

Fortunately, ChrisO_wiki has the long form answer to that...
