Imagine being so cool that a competitor is forced to use your protocol to encrypt their messages
“If you're being paid to use an app, chances are high that the app is harvesting and monetizing your personal data,” EFF’s Lena Cohen told WIRED. https://www.wired.com/story/no-the-freecash-app-wont-pay-you-to-scroll-tiktok/
No, the Freecash App Won’t Pay You to Scroll TikTok

Freecash will actually pay money out to users but not for watching videos. This misleading marketing coincides with the app’s rising popularity.

For the past three years, we've been working on tools and protocols to monitor the health of the Tor network. 🩺 This work aims to strengthen the Tor network's resilience and resistance to relay attacks. These tools recently underwent a third-party audit, and here are the results! https://blog.torproject.org/code-audit-network-health-tools/

@Strandjunker The lesson being to not blindly believe random numbers given on the internet ?

/e/ is a dumbass name. When I looked it up I thought it was a fucking subreddit for skids. All these custom ROMs beside GrapheneOS act like they want to be GrapheneOS. It's fucking retarded that GrapheneOS is even posting about this /e/ and the "BRAX phones" are known shitting options.

@kaschmir @fsfe /e/ and iodéOS aren't safe options. Both lack basic privacy/security patches and protections. Both are misleading users about what's provided and covering up massive privacy and security flaws. /e/ sends user data to OpenAI without obtaining consent.

https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/24134-devices-lacking-standard-privacysecurity-patches-and-protections-arent-private provides a lot more information for /e/ and Murena including links to third party sources which also cover iodéOS in separate articles.

Neither /e/ or iodéOS are suitable for people who care about privacy.
