This recovering from surgery of my broken/displaced elbow and physiotherapy is bloody tiring!! My first day back at work (restricted to admin) already got me exhausted at 3pm. 😞

My elbow is displaced because my bone fracture turned into a broken bone. After 10 hours at A&E; a second x-ray, plaster cast, ct scan, orthopaedic consult, I’m being admitted for surgery tomorrow 🥲 so many painkillers have been taken

Back at A&E and my fractured elbow is in so much pain!!! 😭 Codeine isn’t even working ahhh

We went to Ickworth House to have a picnic today and before we left it was getting rather warm so all three of us had ice cream (Russell had a special Jude’s doggy ice cream)!

Feeling sorry for myself and my colleagues because I have a stupidly important experiment on Monday and am actually meant to be at work (in the lab) this Sunday. Hoping I do not get immobilised more than I already am. I couldn’t put a lab coat today without extra help 😅

New day, new trip to the hospital 😅 fell off my bike whilst turning a corner because I noticed on the ground at the last minute that there was a baby grass snake and in my attempt to avoid it I fell on my elbow which is now swollen and possibly broken 🥲
