If anyone wants to see what happens when industry is subject to lapse or zero regulation, just look at West Virginia. It's a disaster area full of cancer and strip-mined mountains. I'm surprised anything can live there.

Yes. Red (and redish states like AZ) have no interest in education. This week's election demonstrated how helpful poor education is to them.
