This weeks Eidos Montreal layoffs were part of Wildlands (P11) cancellation. The game was in development for more than 7 years and was struggeling for years with a budget well above 9 figures.

P11 was the reason why several other games including 'Deus Ex' got cancelled. The game looked simliar to 'Wild' from Wild Sheet Studios which also got cancelled. Acc to sources P11 passed a huge milestone and was nearly complete with a release date planned for later this year.
