Cedrik Fermont is a Belgian–Congolese composer, musician, mastering engineer, author, radio host, concert organiser, independent researcher, and label manager (at Syrphe) currently based in Berlin. Since 1989, he has been active in the fields of noise, electronic music, electroacoustic music, sound art, and experimental music. He has collaborated with dozens of artists and vocalists around the world and has been involved in both independent and academic artistic networks. He also occasionally composes music for sound installations, theatre, and dance.
