Here comes the plane that will (somewhat ironically) take me to Portland in my way to Vancouver BC.
Last meal! Fish, rice, soup.
Hooray for being allowed to shower and put on my street clothes! Iโll shave when I get home because blade razors tear up my skin.
The anteroom as seen from my room. As Iโm not here for an infectious disease, the door is unlocked.
Hospital breakfast need not be boring. But once again the hope is this is my last meal here before they den me home.
My labs are not quite where the doctors want them, so I get to spend one more night here. Good thing I have good insurance and a well-funded healthcare savings account. Meanwhile, itโs Salisbury steak and rice for dinner.
If all goes well, this should be the last meal at the hospital before they discharge me.
With luck I leave today, Iโm ambulatory enough to look around, so hereโs pictures of my room and the adjacent anteroom used when the patient is an infectious disease risk.
I was expecting a scoop of white rice with the pollock, but I guess it wouldโve been too many carbs.
