Books are not clutter. Clutter is all the other stuff that gets in the way of having more books.
If something is legally required, like car insurance, then the industry should be nationalised. Why should the law force me to make profit for their shareholders rather than taxpayers?

Today while training some sysadmins I shared this real photo of ancient Greek engineers configuring a mailserver.

On the left the brave engineer is trying to stop unauthorised pipelining through the MTA as their knee is viciously attacked by a subtly broken DKIM key. Meanwhile, their co-sysadmin is hammering away at a perfectly good Postfix sender restrictions policy, screaming "It's not DNS!", while bitten by a PTR record quietly hissing "It'ssss DNSssss".

@ChrisMayLA6 This man is doing nothing for #OurNHS. He's blatently replacing OUR drs with underqualified staff and paying them more than drs who have trained for years. He's also in the pockets of private healthcare leeches. #StreetingOut #TakeBackOurHealthcare #StopReplacingOurDoctors

Let's be clear here: The law is NOT to blame for cookie banners.

The blame lies with companies that would rather inconvenience you with a banner than respect your privacy by not collecting (and selling) your data..

Europe’s cookie law messed up the internet. Brussels wants to fix it.

The European Commission wants to take a bite out of privacy rules that force websites to run cookie banners.

@Peternimmo The ECHR was created for a reason. Specifically, it was created in the aftermath of the Second World War, with Britain being very instrumental in its creation, to stop Nazis from happening again.

And those who find they are obstructed by anti-Nazi measures are telling us clearly who they are.

Best ever use of this meme template 😂
