15 years ago the GeoEye-1 Earth-imaging satellite was launched.

Google had purchased rights to use imagery created from the satellite, and their logo was placed on the side of the rocket used to launch it into space.

Microsoft announced that it will deprecate WordPad with a future Windows update as it's no longer under active development.

But If enough people ask for it, maybe Microsoft will also move WordPad to its app store so that it remains available.
