IMHO "is there #racism on the #Fediverse?" is a misleading and even dangerous question. Hate and -isms have heads as their platforms, and those heads will always be using whatever means their preferred online platforms offer, to attack their targeted groups of humans.

So expect every form of online violence to exist everywhere. Denial doesn't help. It's your job to keep your eyes open, and to speak up and act wherever you encounter that violence.
