Pick which fact goes with my MC Cassie Beck.
#WordWeavers 7.5 — What kind of perfume / scent would work for your antagonist?
Old Spice for Jeff and Samuel Beck. Bruce Jenkins doesn't use scent.
#WritersCoffeeClub 7/5 How unsympathetic are your protagonists?
Carlton moves from teenage bravado to adult coward of a man. He's got a good heart, but life has beaten him down. Merrilyn's first, next, and last resort when life hits her is alcohol. Cassie comes off as a spoiled teenager, but she's desperately insecure because of the mind games her dad has played on her over her life.

Does your antagonist (or villain) have a weapon of choice?
Jeff Beck carries a .45 pistol, and Bruce Jenkins likes a snub-nosed .38 for protection. Samuel Beck knows no one would dare challenge him so he doesn't carry at all.
#WritersCoffeeClub 7/3 How much do doubt or guilt feature in your work?
Guilt drives almost all of my characters. They all have something in their past they regret, and they all have different coping strategies to deal with what they feel.
#WordWeavers: If your story were food, what kind would it be?
Hurricane Baby--Cajun food. It's good as long as you're not too particular about what goes into the pot, and if you don't know what you're eating, don't ask because you're not going to like the answer.
Looking For Home--Looks like a birthday cake until you cut it open and find a wasp nest inside.
#PennedPossibilities 718. If they were looking back on their past choices, would your MC feel as though they made the right ones in life?
Carlton's too levelheaded to do that. The past is past, and thinking about it doesn't change it. When Merrilyn looks back, despair overwhelms her to the point she starts drinking to make the memories go away. Cassie feels like she never had choices--her adoptive parents were too controlling for that.
#ScribesAndMakers Jul 3 - When (and if) you procrastinate, what do you do? If you don't, what do you do to avoid it?
Scroll social media or read online news sites. Sometimes when I'm really anxious about working, I just sit in front of the open file and spiral. Not fun.
#ScribesAndMakers 2. If you could have only one creative activity in the future, which one would you pick?
Writing. Paid for or not. It's just what I do.
