Pip, this beautiful 3 year old tuxedo, just chose me while I visited the Evanston Animal Shelter. Her former family had to surrender her, she’s been in the shelter about 2 weeks now. She just explored the apartment and is now snuggled up next to me. Pure love.
I have to make a correction. Chicago school turned away Secret Service not ICE over an unsubstantiated threat about Tic Tok.

@wbpeckham yes, I’m from the USA, in Chicagoland. Today, the Chicago Public School System blocked ICE Agents from entering a school to round up Hispanic children for deportation. I’m proud of Chicago for standing up to hate.
