LinneEs ist wirklich einmal schön zu sehen, dass nicht alle wissenschaftlichen Karrieren linear verlaufen mussten (ja, wir befinden uns in anderen Zeiten...). Die Entdeckerin des inneren Erdkerns, Inge Lehmann, schloss ihr Studium erst mit 32 Jahren ab und veröffentlichte die Hälfte ihrer Publikationen erst nach ihrer Pensionierung (die letzte mit 99 !).

It was written in Aleppo, Syria in 1250 CE by a historian named Ibn al-'Adeem. Not a chef. A historian. Who also happened to document one of the most extraordinary cookbooks of the medieval period.
The base of the recipe is identical to what you make today. Chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, salt. That part has not changed in 776 years.

Years into writing Python and mutable defaults still bite me occasionally.
Pybites walks through why passing a list to a function and modifying it in-place changes the original. Python passes by reference, so your local variable is just another name tag on the same object. The article covers mutable default arguments too, which is the classic "function remembers values between calls" trap.
