I'm also a librarian and before the pandemic practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (hope to get back on the mat some day).

Played a second session of Mythic Bastionland.

tl;dr I like it.

"Folks are going to be studying the techniques Mythic Bastionland has for creating a hexcrawl for a long time. The way we pepper the landscape with Myths and then the Omens offered in each Myths one-page entry is incredible. Already the Myths are starting to cross pollinate and become a tangled web of arcane stuff occurring all over the map."

Someone cried at the game. I'm sure there are people in the LARP community who could offer better advice on after-care in the post-game haze of an emotionally taxing game.
