I. L. VilliamWir müssen Menschenrechte auch für faule, gehässige, selbstgefällige, egoistische ... Menschen schützen. Es ist schlicht egal, wie toll jemand ist. Menschenrechte sind nicht an Bedingungen geknüpft.
Es ist gut, dass viele nicht gehässig und egoistisch sind, sich gesellschaftliche Gemeinschaft und Solidarität wünschen.
Aber man muss überhaupt nichts tun oder sein, um ein menschenwürdiges Leben zu verdienen. Das war mal der ganze Punkt der Menschenrechte. Dass sie für alle gelten. Immer.
