#NovemberWorldbuilders Day 30

The ARAF's rank system is based on the NATO rank system. It was important I get those right for a military story, and I'm glad I got a good grip on who does what, made the story just that bit better.

Financial endeavors within the setting are, by default, employee-owned, a development that came to be during the establishment of the last Imperial Dynasty, partly to contain the influence of the emerging merchant class, partly due to a new and growing religious influence of the time.

The New Year's Attacks, described in my debut, a series of terrorist attacks and amok runs by the Green Dawn aimed at the city and population of Trento. They were eventually stopped by joint law enforcement and military efforts.

I don't mention any, but they do exist, primarily preserved within mythical accounts.

The beginning of the war I mentioned yesterday was notable for the fact that the opposing commanders were father and son. Their wife/mother disappeared soon after the two had their final clash, which launched A LOT of speculation.

“I guess there’s a difference between knowing something and living through it.”

Remember what I said yesterday, about ancient civilisations becoming the basis of current myths? Their leaders now have cults/belief systems built around their actions, but only of them, Chrona, gets a broader level of definition

Quite a few, but, because of a lack of archeological evidence, most of what can be gleamed about them is only available through ethnographic/mythological research, given accounts about them form the basis of the setting's faiths.

Not particularly, except for attitudes about wage labor and environmental conservation. Wage labor is seen as inherently exploitative, at least within the focus setting, making decision labor, or decision contributivity, a prerequisite of most contemporary workplaces. The magic system leads to people having a stronger connection to their surroundings, and active preservation efforts are more widespread.
