Chuck this thing in your go bag and you can set up your phone practically anywhere. Even if you have to use the phone's microphone or a different audio source, this opens up possibilities.
Take, for example, this Video Making Kit I picked up from a shop called Ten Tops.
It features:
* A pistol-style selfie stick / tripod
* A phone holder
* A light (requires 3 x AAA batteries, not included; has three brightness options; it also features three cold shoe slots for adding other accessories)
* A microphone and auxiliary cable
* A Bluetooth phone remote (which requires a CR2032 battery, which IS included).
