My first attempt at the Pleiades (M45) last week-end from my backyard. Total exposure time is 6h40 with a 400mm refractor (F/D 5.6) and Asi2600mc camera (without filters). It was the first clear night without moon since more than one month! The public lights of my small village (and neighboring towns) are now turned off at midnight: what a spectacular improvement in sky quality, what a pleasure to look at the sky!
