So Denmark didn’t qualify for the FIFA World Cup, it will be the first cup we are not in after a good streak. And many Danes are actually happy about it, we will gladly skip the FIFA circus in the US this time. The political issues of playing Qatar last where bad enough .. simple human rights violations, corruption and surveillance.
Could also be the team performance, either way.. less circus this year

I do not think Americans realise the far reaching economic consequences of having elected Donald Trump.

While the Danes have elected a new parliament which may push for less military purchases from the U.S., the citizens of Denmark have now presented two new citizen petitions: One requiring parliament to make it illegal to use Peter Thiel's Palantir AI surveilance software, and another one preventing the use of American technologies in our national health systems.

Armed conflict is not a sports game.

You don’t need to pick a side.

You can also oppose one government without supporting the government that declares war on said government.

You can also, and I know this is a big stretch, oppose a third government in the conflict!

You can declare solidarity with all the people in the region who aren’t murdering thieving assholes.

You can call for mitigating a bad situation without that being a declaration of support for the whole mess.
