For folks not following the news since the election, Labour have taken only a week to announce that they’re planning to continue the Tory policy of banning puberty blockers for trans youth.

“Change” for some, continuity of Tory cruelty for trans people.

Please consider writing to your MP to complain about Labour Health Secretary, Wes Streeting.

Tim Chiusano makes some people less afraid to get old and to survive corporate America. He just makes me wish I was rich (no hate)
I'm now the sole researcher for 2 brands, and 3 products 😬

The funny thing about the logic that we shouldn't design for disabled people because they are a small group ("less than 50%") is that—in the most recent census data for the US—only 49.5% were MALE.

@[email protected] I say it's a numbers game. What percentage of their users use NVIDIA? Let's agree on ~50%. Yet, they still ship w/o working NVIDIA support in the past. I am not sure how big the percentage of blind people is, but I would wager its less than 50%.

Back after a while. Realising how removed I am from the UX community since I left Twitter (and post COVID lockdowns since I don't do in person very much anymore)
@gnaddrig so far yes. Plus very supportive leadership so good balance.
I started a new job January 9th. I am much less stressed but also more lonely (much smaller company, way fewer meetings, the company hasn't really figured out how to be a social remote company yet), always confused but in a good way.

I turned off a lot at Christmas but then forgot to come back here

Hello!

When an American denies American exceptionalism in a sentence that literally is the epitome of American exceptionalism 🙄
