Just finished my this year's #yuletide #socks. They were really fun to knit and finished within three evenings (i always knit when watching telly). Yarn is #SandnesGarn Klompelompe Spot, the buttons were shopped locally. Pattern is from the book "Finnische Socken stricken für jede Jahreszeit" by Niina Laitinen.

The Glory of The Garter Stitch: this is my current non-sock project, a shawl. The yarn is more reddish and matches one of my summer dresses perfectly. The pattern is A Hap for Harriet from the book "Bluestockings"

Finally, i finished my version of the Broken Seed Stitch #Socks by Hanna Leväniemi (free pattern on #Ravelry). It was a fun knit, but in the middle of the second sock my sock mojo temporarily left me, so it took a bit longer to finish it. But now they're done, and i'm happy.

Finished: Socks made to measure to the exact shape of my feet. It's quite an efford when making them the first time. But i'll make them again definately, since the pattern is ideal for hiking socks meant to be worn in boots for the whole day.
