At today's Block Cop City demonstration in Atlanta, protesters valiantly pushed through three lines of police as officers viciously beat them and threw tear gas canisters at them. The demonstrators were only stopped when a fourth line of officers began shooting rubber bullets at them and discharged so much tear gas that the police themselves were forced to retreat.

The only conceivable reason to waste millions of dollars on equipping these dishonorable bullies to brutalize people is to create a nightmare of dystopian violence. Abolish the police and the disparities in power that they exist to impose!
