Anyone played Eragon on the GBA, or even read the book the game is based on?
Remember playing this as a kid but found it too difficult. The combat system is interesting, but the devs don’t do much with it. It’s clear the game was made with a short deadline.
It also doesn’t help I never read the book (nor have I read a trollfic based on it - did anyone write an Eragon trollfic?). Worth trying out on an emulator, but not worth going out and buying. 6/10 - not enough content. #eragon
When I was younger I would print out fanfics. I’d put them into small print and in columns so that it would take up less space (weirdly learnt this trick from those old Gideon Bibles).
I would secretly read these fanfics at school. My eyesight was a lot better then (didn’t need to wear glasses). Now I can barely read a word.

Thought I’d advertise my novel. Spent seven years writing (and countless more planning it). It’s set in a fantasy world where magic (which is used like we use oil) is running out.
Really focused on the characters and world building (something I really enjoy doing). I’ve started writing a sequel if anyone is interested.
