I like AOC and the squad.
Today I met with strikers at Evolution Gaming in Georgia. They've been on the picket line since 12 July and they need our solidarity more than ever. Brave people, they are determined to win. Please support them by sending a message to the company: https://bit.ly/evolution-strike

1 reason why #Trump's comments about abandoning #NATO matter are, 1st & foremost, bc he ordered GOP to abandon #Ukraine which virtually all near-Ukraine allies think makes them next

He is, in front of our faces, delivering Ukraine up to Putin as a gift.

But the other reason it matters is bc we SAW this call-and-response in '16 & '20, when Trump got help from Russian spies

This is more of same. Stop letting Trump play dumb. Stop playing dumb yourself. https://www.emptywheel.net/2024/02/12/call-and-response-putin-is-demanding-greater-russia/

Call and Response: Putin Demanded Greater Russia and Trump Agreed - emptywheel

One day after Putin told Tucker Carlson he invaded Ukraine not because of NATO, but because of his commitment to pursue Greater Russia, Trump promised he'd help Putin pursue Greater Russia.

Trump, in South Carolina at a rally, outlines a scenario in which he would “encourage” Russia to “do whatever the hell they want” to other NATO members.

Trump Says He Might 'Encourage' Russia To Attack NATO Allies

"You gotta pay your bills," said the former president notorious for not paying his own bills.

Trump publicly declaring today that he would encourage Russia to attack our NATO allies under certain circumstances and the South Carolina audience cheering should be the end of the road, not only for Trump, but for the GOP and the MAGA movement.

But it won't be.

This SHOULD end Trump. He's an existential threat to the world. #NeverAgainTrump #TrumpForLifeInPrison

Judge Aileen Cannon Is Quietly Sabotaging the Trump Classified Documents Case

Judge Cannon has learned all the wrong lessons from her first, legally untenable pro-Trump ruling of September 2022.

Tomorrow some Koch-funded lawyers are going to the Supreme Court to argue a Koch-funded case before a Koch-funded Supreme Court justice, who has likely already read several Koch-funded amicus briefs filed in the case. https://takebackthecourt.substack.com/p/the-supreme-courts-relentless-corruption
The Supreme Court's Relentless Corruption

Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in two related cases, Loper Bright v Raimondo and Relentless v Department of Commerce, in which conservatives are trying to do away with 40 years of Supreme Court precedent and basic common sense by shifting responsibility for the most minute details of government regulation – think “exactly how much chicken feces can safely be in the wings you eat during the Super Bowl,” and then keep in mind that there are an inconceivably large number of similarly complex decisions that help keep you alive and healthy – from the hundreds of thousands of scientists and subject matter experts employed by federal government agencies to the various Matt Gaetzes and Lauren Boeberts who comprise the United States Congress and, perhaps even more frighteningly, to the nine members of the Supreme Court itself.
