I didn't get to go inside the Red Mosque because it was Ramadan and that limited the tourist visiting hours, but just from the outside it is a stunning building.
My Tiny Sri Lanka sketchbook, with all the little sketches I have done from my recent holiday there. Besides five in the UNESCO sketchbook that I'll post later. Will still add more from time to time, but going to be focused on other stuff now.

Cryptic Frog Quarterly, and I found old stories by Isaac Asimov ("The Message" and "Hell-Fire") & Gene Wolfe (Against the Lafayette Escadrille) siting on my bookshelf.

Re-boosting this post I made two years ago because I've been playing so much #Pokopia and am having the time of my life being a #ditto and it made me remember this drawing I did ages ago.

I drew 3 of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of #SriLanka that I visited in my tiny #UNESCO sketchbook. They are:
1. Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple
2. Ancient City of Polonnaruwa
3. Ancient City of Sigiriya
These sites are so unbelievably ancient, and it was awesome exploring them.
One of the best things about Sri Lanka was seeing so many wild elephants. One charged at our bus near Sigiriya. The best sighting though was seeing a family while on safari at Yala National Park.
