Why the world cannot afford the rich

Equality is essential for sustainability. The science is clear — people in more-equal societies are more trusting and more likely to protect the environment than are those in unequal, consumer-driven ones.

I know its an old hat now, but still - I loved this summary of the IPCC report. It also clearly shows, that everything is in place to stop climate change, just the political will is missing.

I love it when tools are concordant on analysis... FYI I tried to find a good tool that regards multiple measurements in #RNAseq analysis and only LMM and limma seem to report the same results in at least some regards...
Thanks @CCThinnes from the @ines_thiele lab for the introduction of the #VMH database at the #SmartAge winterschool in Kiel - love the rather new features of the recon maps and its export to #celldesigner compatible XML. Will have a look into that.
