Tonight on #WFMU: ▶️ On Techtonic, hosted by @[email protected]: 40 years later, Apple turns into 1984. The launch of Apple's Vision Pro face jail is an inescapable sign that Apple has finally transformed into the Orwellian giant that their famous Super Bowl commercial warned about in 1984. Mark will discuss the similarities between the VR headset and the facehugging parasite from the Alien movies. (6pm ET) ▶️ Antenna Alley episode 4, on Daniel Blumin's show: Tune in for Episode 4 of Antenna Alley, a new series of short, absurd yet factual insect-music adventures created by Irene Moon. This episode features sounds by Ergo Phizmiz and Lottie Bowater + venoztks! (9pm ET) More special shows and upcoming guests are listed at https://wfmu.org/upcoming

This is obnoxious but also only because I am not 100% without hope: *you*, as a Hierarchist, prefer this situation to Anarchy. #AnarchyIsMyLove
No comment because, well…😂⚰️🤖🦾
Those terrible types that all the good people like you and me mocked from that “Meet the ‘elite’ couples breeding to save mankind” are in general agreement with the pro-natalist policies of the Soviet Union circa 1936-1944. Ironic of course because said “elites” are certainly all coming from the opposite end of the left/right political ideology spectrum. Lol, manunkind is such a dumb bitch it never fails to make me laugh.

My latest joy-giving discovery is this online indie magazine’s archive page Hypocrite Reader | Archive https://hypocritereader.com/archive The opening article of its debut issue is entitled something like “Love in the time of Late-Capitalism: Case studies in Revolutionary Overreach.” I know who I am.

My twin passions: graphic design and Looney Toons.
The first time I’ve actually heard the man speaking (Mark Fisher, aka Mr. Capitalist Realism). Here’s a useful timeline for those who like that kind of thing.

Also, lols abound particularly if you, like me, happened to have to recently seen 1994’s cult comedy classic Cabin Boy. Big time “fancy lad” talk. I don’t care what anyone says: Chris Elliott is America’s sweetheart still, fuiud!
🎶ON THE CHAISE LOUNGE, ON THE CHAISE LOUNGE, ON THE CHAISE LOUNGE, ON THE CHAISE LOUNGE🎶 (thank you so very much, Mary Shelley)
Mary Shelley is on the level of Dostoevsky — which surprises me I guess because from the first I came to know of Frankenstein from schlocky old horror movies and his kid’s cereal, Frankenberries. But now, only 20 or so pages in I’m reminded why I read, why I write — to write well is to think well, and to think well, especially in this day and age of rampant asshattery, is a veritable superpower.
