Going live on #Twitch now!
It's Tuesday, and that means Super Animal Royale with new weekly challenges. Watch me explore the game's recent "Bright Future" update with new NPC quests, limited-time weapons, and more.
This afternoon, I was working on my presentation style for my "Deal or No Deal: Furry Edition" panel at the upcoming #FurryFiesta2026 . Think of it as more of a rehearsal, so I can get used to tabbing between windows while still accessing the right information behind the scenes.
As I was testing it out with some dummy entries, I was caught off guard to see a "banker's offer" of zero when I wasn't expecting to. I looked closer at the formula, and determined that the zeroes I'd placed in some cells as dummy numbers, were being picked up by the formula as legitimate.
I spent a bit of time, determining how I could obtain the original desired result without having dummy zeroes affect the calculation. Then I remembered that similar intermediate calculations were also being run on a different sheet, where empty cells were skipped rather than being treated as having a zero value. I rewrote the "banker's offer" formula to reference these values instead, while also changing the COUNT function to a COUNTIF.
#Streaming live on #Twitch !
Starting out with a brief play of Super Animal Royale, then moving on to the original DOOM and perhaps something new after that!
In light of a discussion (on Mastodon) I was recently a part of, I find myself reflecting on this post I made back in December.
It seems hypocritical of me to make a post like this, and then (just a short time later) seemingly forget about all the points I'd made. 😐
For anyone who's into #numismatics and especially banknote (paper money) #collecting , I manage a channel on Telegram called "Intaglio's Money Musings" where I share details about the subject.

I posted a new slideshow of photos there today, describing my experiences attending a local expo.
I'm contemplating setting up a #PiHole server on a Raspberry Pi 4B that I'm not using for very much.
If anyone is using this on their home network, could you please give me tips on how to install and how to properly use it? It seems like I'd have to have the Pi turned on constantly in order to do its job, but I worry about overheating (I have a standard case that has no CPU fan).
#WritersCoffeeClub January 5:
How do you choose the point of view for a new story?
Almost all of my fan fiction was written in first-person POV, as it allowed me to capture the character's inner thoughts and perspective more intimately.
That being said, several of my stories have switched POV between characters -- one story, Novus Umbra Seclorum, gave a perspective from four different characters (and clearly labeled). But I wrote in such a way that there was little time overlap involved.
I suppose I should take a moment to appreciate the irony of what I'm about to say, given how I often respond to other people's posts:
There's an inherent risk in sharing one's personal opinions in any public setting. There will almost always be someone out there with a different/opposing opinion, and they may seek to challenge. There's a possibility that the opinion was formed on incomplete or incorrect information. And speaking openly about any subject has the potential to make enemies of others who would otherwise be neutral or potentially allies.
I see certain people (on my #Mastodon instance and elsewhere) voicing their opinions, which they are within their right to do. But I wonder how they're able to manage any consequences that follow.
The safer option is to withhold all opinions and be perceived as a blank slate to everyone. But I suppose participating in any form of social media to an extent above passive consumption, requires speaking up about something.
Update 2025-11-19:
It turns out, I actually saved the recovery key for my Apple account when I enabled two-factor authentication years ago. I stuck it in a CSV of account recovery keys, which I put in a secured cloud storage back in 2019 and apparently haven't touched since then.
I entered my recovery key and successfully unlocked my Apple account. Good thing I didn't try to create a replacement.
