if I show this post to all my friends maybe the decision space will narrow all on its own :V

pondering if I should buy myself a videogame for my birthday. it's a tough question because I'm between jobs again, and also because...which one?

my current wishlist is approximately:
- 868-BACK
- Vampire Crawlers
- Monster Train 2
- Isles of Sea and Sky
- DLC for Tactical Nexus (chapter 4 or 5 or 8)

a couple of those games just came out and a couple have been on there for at least a year. I still haven't watched the recent Thinky Direct which will likely get me to add a bunch more things too

there are SO MANY QUEERS here and I have no idea how to, like, meet them
ok not *much* more substantive, I was probably going to make a joke about budgets for budgeting software

still at city council meeting, school budget is being presented. let the record reflect that councillor ewen-campen did not read councillor strezo's mind

I was gonna put something more substantive here but I got distracted, that sure was a moment

Councilor @[email protected] says that due to the nuances of state law - the city council actually cannot do what the school committee has asked and add $600k to the school committee budget. The only way to do that would be to make massive cuts and force the Mayor's hand. 41/?
Councilor @[email protected] reminds everybody that the public hearing on the budget is this coming Wed, the 10th. C'mon out. Say your thing. 34/?
lmao, jake makes a big pause at the end of a section of his presentation, as though he's expecting applause, and somebody on his staff has to start it
We're apparently going to see motion on police reform. I didn't see it in the budget, but I just skimmed. What I saw was a new staff position, reporting to the Mayor making less than $70k per year, who is either the manager or director of police oversight. It's not independent oversight. 10/?
