Because it feels like it keeps making us explain over and over our reason for being.
Artists have to explain that it’s not art just because you can generate content without emotion and discomfort.
Writer’s have to explain that it’s not storytelling just because there is content that follows rules without critically exploring the human condition.
Software developers keep having to spend time on code generated in seconds that then needs 10x time to understand and 100x time to debug.
We’re all just spending our energy on one more thing, but it’s automated and shoved down our throats so much we can’t even find the distinction between content and emotion.
Opus Magnum: De Re Metallica is out now! Craft alchemical substances using novel, occult glyphs in the DLC for the automation game Opus Magnum by Zachtronics!
#VantagePoint, the newest #Netrunner expansion, is out now!
Do you dare uncover what the Corps are hiding deep beneath the regolith?
"Steam Next Fest" is happening now and I want to let you know about some unreleased games which have demos up for the next few weeks.
1. "868-BACK" by Michael Brough
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3304110/868BACK/
This is the sequel to 868-HACK (the Best, most satisfyingly fast roguelike). The sequel will include a "campaign" mode, which this demo omits, so this demo is basically a free, more refined version of 868-HACK.
2. "Titanium Court"
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2364580/Titanium_Court/
I literally do not know what this is.

868-BACK is a computer-hacking strategy roguelike game where your mission is to dismantle capitalism one server at a time! Use hacking powers to fight enemies, steal the servers' data, and face increasingly nasty situations before being disconnected (again!) by the richest corporations on earth.
