This hypothetical scenario does not support an argument about the reliability of AI, and the user is at fault for finding themselves in the emergency ward.
If you're pragmatic with the way you use AI, it's an incredibly powerful tool. It's a skill, though -- not magic. You do need to learn how to use it efficiently.
If you're using it to help you accomplish something which will have actual consequences, then it's on you to be careful.

I went to a comedy open mic. Every comedian talked about the same exact shit:
-masturbating alone
-exposing themselves to kids
-fucking animals
-shitting their pants
-killing their parents
-suicide
No originality. Edginess for the sake of it.

Wes, it's OKAY to just make a regular old movie with a story with a single, self contained plot rather than a plot in a plot next to a plot talking to another plot on the phone that is referencing a plot from a nonfiction book about a fictional plot.
