Yesterday was great! Ran out to my folks’ house, cut their grass (it’s growing quick, and it’s so hot that I don’t want them cutting it), and then went out for Lebanese food.
The dog ate his weight in leftover lamb this morning. Lucky duck. 😅

Haven't been on here much. One person quit at work, and both my dad and Greg's mom have been having health issues.
We moved back to New Orleans to be closer to parents, knowing that this kind of thing was in the future. I'm really glad that we did.
Finally upgraded the last of my armor last night in #TearsOfTheKingdom. Sooo many dragon parts and gems and construct parts to keep track of. It's dizzying!
Now that I've done it once: never again. 😅
My next run will be more of a challenge, where I only allow myself to fully upgrade 1 set of armor.
One of the biggest things I’ve noticed since returning from vacation:
Stress-inducers and annoyances in media everywhere!
When I was away in Hyrule, I only watched movies or tv shows that didn’t have any advertisements included. I also didn’t consume news of any sort; I’m still learning of celebrity deaths and stupid news events that happened.
Returning to tv and online streaming was a major exposure shock. This shit is relentless and wears you down. I can feel my brain matter wilting..😵💫
"The problem is that we are looking for someone to grow old with. And we really have to find someone, with whom we can remain children."
Charles Bukowski
My favorite part of this moment:
As soon as he heard the music fade-in, Koji rolled over and wrapped his two front paws around my ankle, squeezing me with every bit of his strength. Legit made me tear-up.
It's a moment I'll always remember.
I have a headcanon built around the torch that Zelda carries in the opening sequence in TotK.
Whenever I play BotW, I keep the torch that the Old Man lets Link have. I keep it for the entire game in pristine condition. And in my mind, Link gives that torch to Zelda at the end of the game, telling her that it once belonged to her father.
