So I just started talking to someone the other day they starting in on the relationship stuff pretty fast. I tried slowing the pace down a bit, and fell asleep shortly after. I woke up to 10 messages going from sad face emojis to increasingly passive aggressive guilt tripping. I can tell they're nice, but also manipulative, and I want to be honest about no longer being interested, but don't want to be an asshole or get roped into drama. Should I just ghost this out or what?

Exactly, Even Engels and Marx made it clear that a revolution has to happen on the material terms currently present. Even Che listened to criticisms of foco and tried to realise realistic solutions. I think a lot of western leftists still see things by the lines on a bourgeouis map.

I normally sympathise with tankies but I split hard on this one. There comes a point where ideological purity just doesn't fit in a real world situation, especially in a culture that is way different than our's in the west. I honestly see more similarities in the October Revolution than I do in Zionism given the circumstances.

This whole take has boggled me so much. Like, I can see why the US would provide them support to divide Syria, but that was never their goal afaik. From what I've heard most of them areb't fond of Israel. Despite things I've read to the contrary and other Marxists say, I still think they're doing right by what they've fought for for quite some time.

1.Be against capitalism, imperialism and oppression of all sorts(obvious)
2.Actually do things irl. The people know a fraud when they see one, if you're all talk and no action then you're not a comrade..(if your life situation stops you from organizing then it's fine)
3. Be principled. Approach things by looking at the content of the argument, don't have absurd petty fights with people. This is politics not a game. Also don't repeat state propaganda...
