Francis: I realize that a lot of people probably think I hate being around Carlos because he's a living chaos creature whose love language is creating annoyances. That's not true. I love him. Sure, he's a menace and a pest but damn it he's my menacing pest. <3

The OG Petz game will 'punish' you for ignoring your petz only on days that you actually open the game. And only then if you don't interact with them in any way.
I can go months without opening the game and my funny little orb animals are right there waiting to entertain me.
You know what I miss?
Games that you could pick up and put down without any guilt tripping or stress about missing 'dailies'.
I don't want to have to check in every day to get some doofy power up. I don't want to have levels designed to be unsolvable if you don't use the power up.
I want games that are self contained. No DLCs, no stupid microtransactions. If I paid you for the game, I own it forever. I didn't rent shit from you.

She's terrified of everything and spends most of her time in the game either staring at me like a lost waif or bullying the crap out of other orb critters.
I love the PF Magic Petz games so much. Because you can have beautifully put together orb creatures...or...you can have scrungly beasts. There is no in between and I love them all.

OH! I wanted to be clear because the AI I'm talking about with Petz isn't GenAI or anything they refer to as that currently.
It's literally artificial intelligence. The kind where it makes non-living computerized entities behave in certain ways. Petz just has a really really involved one.

Wooden toys: Children's toys, old or new, made from wood. I love toys in general and they're one of my special interests. :D
Dinosaurs: My favorite dinos have long necks.
Cartoons: I like way too many to list out.
Old Radio Shows: I'm talking from the Golden Age. I'm not well versed in them, but I listen to them at work and I enjoy them. (Even the old jingles that become earworms...Looking at you Pepsi. Be sociable indeed.)
A little rundown for anyone unfamiliar with me/my interests!
Petz: A 'virtual life' game series from the 1990's. No, not the shovelware that Ubisoft slapped the brand name onto. The games have a fairly robust AI and the animals run around, build relationships with you (the owner), each other, have likes, favorites and even enemies.
Dragon Cave: A website dedicated to collecting and 'raising' pixel art dragons. They don't do much, but they sure are pretty! I have 3 breeds I like to collect.
