I have to get this off my chest.
I am *so* angry at the idea that cis white queers might need a threat to Obergefell to wake them up when they are already arresting brown people without due process and putting them in concentration camps.
I understand it's human nature to avoid a problem until it comes home to roost. And as an organizer, I'm prepared to welcome anyone who gets there, however they get there, to the fight.
But right now, today, I'm angry and I want to express that.
They've already taken my right to travel freely without undergoing legal jeopardy. Cis women and all kinds of trans people broadly have already lost their right to make choices about their own bodies in much of the country.
The military is being deployed in places where the opposition party has an electoral advantage.
The idea that after all that *Obergefell* is someone's bright line upsets me. I guess I'm glad something was, tho, I guess.
