I am a #blind person who enjoys travelling (ideally by #Green methods). My interests (in no particular order) include #history, #archaeology #IntangibleHeritage #language #reading #writing #photography (mine or yours, with #AltText) #SocialJustice and #GlutenFree. Iam attempting to visit all the United Kingdom Overseas Territories. I am, at heart, happiest when I'm on water. Please excuse the typos: several kinds of sight loss + dyslexia.
#PerthWA is my first stop on what is not a #RoundTheWorld trip or a #There-andBackAgain but a really big circle with doubling backs.
Most of the places I'm visiting are stops planned with a purpose of visiting, but I'm starting with places that are transport links, Perth being between London and my first place/thing of intent in Australia.
Arrived in #PerthWA yesterday, on the 16 hour slight from London. Stretched out legs in the Botanic Gardens, King's Park. Highlights were a magpie and a fuzzy pink ball bush.

Them "I'm so sorry .. but if you had just one list, and had put it on that, or any one of them, but no, sorry. ..."
Me "no worries, now, needs umami, deep savory notes - Henderson's Relish!"

Talking bout #WorldOceanDay reminded me of the best dish I ate in the Caymans, which was on a vegan restaurant - #Lionfish (yes, apparently vegans can eat this pretty but horrible species). Catching these nasty things (beautiful, but in the wrong place) can now be done as part of a vacation to the Caymans https://www.explorecayman.com/grand-cayman/things-to-do/scuba-diving/lionfish

Still waiting for the list of accessible versions of the nominees so I can start reading / listening! #NoVoteWithoutAccess
Having moved away from cow's milk some years ago, I have settled on hazelnut milk as my favourite.
I buy the Alpro brand because it is (usually) the only brand. But earlier this year saw Lidl had an own brand.
It has slightly higher carb content, tastes more like normal than Alporo's Channel Islands mouth feel. It is also deeper in nut flavour - a little more bitter, too.
And, of course, it hasn't been back in our (UK) branch since. Do I need to find a larger Lidl?
Wishing you a majestic #Caturday! #catsofmastodon

There is a premier inn just across the bridge from the convention centre. All the rooms (I think - best to check) have fridges, so if you want to stash the makings of a meal or two and just hole up, you can.
@darkling I'm like you. I'm waiting for Glasgow to get back to me with details of accessible (audio lor digital) editions. #Hugos4everyone
